Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has welcomed his third child with his wife Lauren Sorrentino . In a new Instagram post that Mike, 41, shared on Thursday, March 6, the reality TV star revealed the name of their new daughter.“Gym Tan Situation Family of 5,” Mike captioned the post, which featured photos of him and Lauren, 39, with their latest addition to the family. “We are thrilled to announce that the newest addition to our Italian family is Luna Lucia Sorrentino, born March 6th, 2024 at 3:49 pm weighing in at 5 pounds 6 ounces and 18.25 inches long.” Mike’s caption ended with the joke, “3 children under three will be quite a situation, but it is one we would not want to change.” In addition to Luna, Mike and Lauren have Romeo Reign, 2 years old, and Mia Bella, 14 months, both born in January 2023. Last January, Mike and Lauren revealed that they were expecting their third child. In an Instagram post from September 2023, the couple posted a picture of Lauren’s ultrasound and wrote: “Good things always come in threes.” Addition of another pumpkin in our patch. “Baby #3 will be here in March 2024.“Before Lauren welcomed her first child, she suffered a miscarriage within the first 7 weeks of her pregnancy. “When I found out we were pregnant, I felt like this is why we went through all these challenges for years and that this was our time and it was our blessing,” Lauren said before adding, “It was hard. It was really difficult.”
The now-mother of three then explained why she chose to share the miscarriage news with the world.”I didn’t want to hold this in,” Lauren pointed out. “I wanted it to be shared for people who are going through it, and I just wanted to be honest so that I could kind of heal.”
