Cher, 77, was so impressed by her boyfriend Alexander Edwards‘ diamond-studded teeth when they first met, that it led to their romance. In a recent interview with the DailyMail, the singer revealed the beginning of her relationship with the 37 year old music executive. She revealed they first met during Paris Fashion Week last year when she was with a friend who encouraged her to approach him.
“My Turkish friend Nebie saw his teeth and said, ‘Cher, go ask him about them,'” she told the outlet, referring to the diamonds. “I told him to ask Nebie. [and he said,] “No, Cher, you have to ask him!”
“These are my real teeth,” Alexander quickly replied, to which Cher said, “Whoah – you’re committed to have them drilled!” Although the “Believe” crooner didn’t end up giving him her number herself, a mutual friend did.
“He got my number from a mutual friend after I left,” she shared. She revealed that he got her number from a mutual friend after she left. I like how he makes feel. He has so many qualities – he’s intelligent, kind, funny and very talented.”
In addition to sharing how they met, Cher talked about the “normal” days that involved Alexander. “When I am at home, I wake up around 6 or 7 am. “If Alexander comes over, we drink coffee on the veranda outside,” she said. “We talk, and he entertains because he is so funny.” After that, I work out downstairs because it’s something I always do. “If it’s a normal day, I’ll go to see friends or have themover. Just regular stuff.” She admitted in an interview with People magazine that he is a bit more reserved and shy than she, but the two of them make it work. “We have an amazing time together. We can discuss music. We can discuss anything.” He’s a got a great sense of humor,” she told Extra“We get each other.”
