Ali Krieger moves the ball forward. The U.S. Women’s National Team’s star revealed she’s ready for a new relationship after Ashlyn Harris filed for divorce after four years.
Ali–who shares daughter Sloane, 2, and son Ocean, 18 months, with Ashlyn–started by confessing that she’s “ready to move forward into this next phase with my kids” during a Feb. 13 episode of CBS’ Kickin‘ It. When asked by co-host Kate Abdo if she meant that she was interested in dating, the 39-year-old clarified: “I am.” Ali clarified that this was not the only clarification she made. The retired defender went on to elaborate on who she’s interested in dating. Ali said, “I may be open to all of society, instead of just 50 percent, right now.” This wasn’t the first Ali had discussed moving on following her split with Ashlyn. Ashlyn was linked to actress Sophia Bush in October. Ali revealed last month how she was able to find a “healthy place” after the breakup.
