Henry Cavill may have just revealed his personal Kryptonite.
The Witcher alum star recently shared that despite the popularity of sex scenes onscreen, portraying intimacy is not a part of the filmmaking process that he’s particularly fond of.
“I don’t understand them,” Henry, 40, said on a Feb. 5 episode of Happy Sad Confused. “I’m not a big fan.” Henry thinks that sex scenes are overused, even though he believes that “there are situations where a sex sequence is beneficial to a film.” “When you have a sense that you’re going, ‘Is this necessary or are these people just with less clothing on? “And you think, ‘There isn’t a performance here.’ It’s unlikely that a particular piece will be carried through to the rest of a movie.”The DC actor admits that “sex sequences can be great for a film. They can help the storytelling.” He believes they are rarely used that way.
