Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar) is counting down the days to her due date with baby No. 5. Jessa posted her update on November 6th. She captioned it: “I’m now in my third trimester and starting to go into nesting mode!” In her mirror selfie, Jessa wore a black and white striped tank top with black pants and let her hair down. She captioned it, “Every heartbeat, every ultrasound, and every appointment that has a positive report… makes the worries fade just a bit more.” God has blessed us beyond all measure and you are so loved, my little girl.”
Jessa announced in September that she and her husband Ben Seewald were expecting their fifth baby together. In a video titled “A Baby On The Way & Romantic Vacation,” the former 19 kids and counting actress announced the news.–
“Just last week, we learned some wonderful news. Our rainbow baby is on its way and we couldn’t be more excited,” Jessa stated at one point. She shared the link to Instagram Stories after sharing her video, saying, “After a devastating loss last year we are so thankful God has blessed us a rainbow child.” Jessa, 28, and Ben, 28, have four children, Spurgeon Henry Ivy Fern. Jessa’s miscarriage in 2022 was a devastating blow to the family. She revealed the miscarriage only earlier this year, in a YouTube clip titled “Heartbreak Over the Holidays,” which documented the moment Jessa realized she was “spotting” blood and when the doctor informed her that the fetus did not “look good.”– “Nothing could have been prepared for the weight of these words at that moment,” Jessa said. “At the time, I was in complete shock. I couldn’t find the words to express myself. I started crying immediately. Jessa explained that passing the fetus in her home would have been dangerous for Jessa’s health. She chose to have the fetus removed from the womb by a dilation-curettage procedure in the hospital. Jessa said that she thanked God in the days leading up to her surgery for “giving us life, even though we wouldn’t get to hold the baby in our hands.” “I only had a little spotting, for about 24 hours.”
